The meeting started at 7:10 PM at Pittsburgh Filmmakers.  All board members but the Treasurer were present.

The Chair reported that there isn't all that much new, but that this facility can likely be used for board meetings going forward if the space isn't reserved for a class. 

The Vice Chair had nothing to report

The Treasurer was not present.

The Secretary reported that currently there are 13 dues-paying members.

The Director-at-large has nothing to report.

With respect to new business, the current plan is to do a pizza party and networking event on April 16th.  That said, there isn't much time, so if it is going to happen, it needs to be promoted at sites like Craigslist, as well as other tech groups' websites.  An EventBrite page should also probably be set up.

For May, there was talking as about having Pat do a talk about Firefox addons or Git.  We should see if we can get a dedicated speaker about Git.  The target date for this is May 10th.

Justin mentioned he may want to give a talk about Monkey at some point.  There was talks that maybe we should get together with Drupal Pittsburgh and maybe see if someone from there will give an introduction to Drupal talk, and compare it to other CMSs.  The goal is to get somebody to do a talk though pretty soon.  Maybe a talk on Blender would be a great idea as well.
